In March 2010 Sperrin Metal was successful in securing the contract to supply and install approximately 115 Bays of Sperrin Mobile Shelving at a cost of £25,000. 

Union College offers superb Library facilities and is by far the largest theological library in the Province. With its stock of over 60,000 books, 20,000 pamphlets and taking over 100 journals and periodicals, it is an outstanding resource for theological study and research.  Our Mobile Shelving was used to house valuable historical documents relating to Church History in the Library Basement.

This project consisted of Sperrin Delta Shelving measuring 2480mm high x 350mm deep x 900mm wide and having 7 Adjustable Shelves + a Top Shelf Level all secured on Mobile Bases.

Sperrin Metal Products worked very closely with the Chief Librarian of the college, thus ensuring that the installation was completed on time and successfully.
