Raising Fun to a New Level

Sperrin Metal recently installed a unique mezzanine floor in the newly opened 5 screen Flik Cinema and Leisure Centre in Roscommon.   

A Mezzanine floor was the ultimate solution for doubling the square footage of the building, allowing the centre to house a 5 level kids play area, top of the range arcade and virtual reality games, a coffee shop and numerous party facilities above an 8 lane 10 pin bowling alley.    

Sperrin Metal’s Sales Manager Jackie Smyth met with the client on a number of occasions to ensure the best layout was achieved for maximising the facilities available while creating an aesthetically pleasing environment.   One of the complexities of the agreed design was a curve in the middle of the mezzanine structure.  Sperrin Metal’s design team embraced the challenge and the finished product was a great success.  The overall mezzanine totalled 13,455 square feet.
