Sperrin Supplies Mezzanine Floor for Retail Giant Bhs

Bhs recently opened its first out of town store in Northern Ireland.

The retailer signed up to take 18,000 sq ft at Holywood Exchange Retail Park in Belfast on a 10-year lease. For this exciting new development, Sperrin Metal Storage Solutions were selected by Patton Fit Out to produce the Mezzanine Flooring for the sales, café and staff area. The project required coordination with Bhs' Quantity Surveyor and Architect.

As the room design was an extremely important consideration, Sperrin Metal had to develop a design that would compliment the interior plan of the store; therefore the position of the columns was critical.  After revising the drawing several times to facilitate interior design options, a preferred layout was decided upon.

An initial short period of 2 weeks was set for installing the floor and further reduced to a challenging one week period.  Sperrin Metal achieved this deadline and successfully completed the installation within 7 days.  The Mezzanine Floor comprised of 36,500mm x 35,000mm.
