Magowan Tyres are a major distributor of Tyres throughout Ireland and Europe. When designing their new warehouse based in Mallusk, they wanted a system to incorporate VNA Trucks with Wire Guidance on floor.
Sperrin Metal and the area sales manager worked very closely with Architect and where involved in the planning for some 18 months.
For this project, Sperrin Adjustable Pallet Racking was used to store close to 39,000 tyres that came to an approximate value of £500,000.
At the time of design, Magowan Tyres asked for Pre-Galvanised frames with Dove Grey Beams, Sperrin Metal also where able to manufacture specially adapted Floor Mounted Column Protectors for all frames along with high spec End of Run Crash Barriers which were painted Yellow.
